HIAROM proudly took part in the 28th edition of the Internationale Ausstellung Fahrwegtechnik (IAF) in Münster, Germany, held between May 31 and June 2, 2022 — one of the most prestigious international exhibitions dedicated to cutting-edge railway technology. The event, which spans Messe Münster, the Münster Ost railway station with 3,000 meters of track, and the Congress Centrum Halle Münsterland, attracts visitors and professionals from all over the world, eager to discover the latest innovations in railway machinery and infrastructure solutions.

At booth A225, HIAROM presented its VMS 424 – 8×8 vehicle, a robust tunnel-specific machine designed for transporting rails, sleepers, concrete, and other materials deep inside underground construction zones. The vehicle is equipped with dual cabins, has a maximum mass of 48 tons, a payload of 24 tons, and is powered by a 290 HP diesel engine. A HIAB crane is also integrated into the configuration. Thanks to its modular design, the VMS 424 can be customized with additional components such as personnel cabins, elevated work platforms, concrete mixers, or concrete pumps, depending on operational requirements.

Similar vehicles built by HIAROM have proven their performance on major worksites in France, Qatar, Thailand, and Hong Kong — earning the trust of leading global contractors. HIAROM participated at the 2022 IAF at the invitation of the Verband Deutscher Eisenbahn-Ingenieure e.V. (Association of German Railway Engineers), the long-time organizer of this prestigious industry event. The 2022 edition of IAF was held under the patronage of Volker Wissing, the German Federal Minister of Transport.
